Gracing over 600 magazine covers,
Cindy Crawford is undoubtedly the world’s most recognizable
model. It all began in 1983, when she became a finalist in Elite
Model Management’s “Look of the Year” competition.
Although Crawford had been awarded a chemical engineering scholarship
to Northwestern University, she put college on hold and moved to
New York—where she quickly went from the gorgeous “girl
next door” to one of the most in-demand models of all time.
But despite her meteoric rise, Crawford retained a unique approachability
that made her a valuable spokesperson. She helped launch numerous
new brands and repositioned classics such as Revlon, Pepsi and Omega.
Indeed, Crawford has become a household name—she hosted MTV’s
House of Style from 1989–1995, and has released a best-selling
beauty book, three chart-topping workout videos and a successful
children’s book. Now, for her latest endeavor, Meaningful
Beauty, Crawford has joined forces with Europe’s leading cosmetic
surgeon, Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh, to share her secret to flawless
skin with women everywhere.
Crawford lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Rande Gerber, and
their two children, Presley and Kaia.
